Opportunities for children include:
Children's time - A time with the pastor near the beginning of Sunday worship.
Sunday School—After Children's time, we meet in our education building for various games, music, crafts, and community building to help build a faith foundation for children in grades K through 6. We welcome all to our Sunday School programming, celebrating our diversity and creating an inclusive environment for all children.
Music Ministry - On Sunday mornings, children learn music theory and songs that build community and faith with joy through voice and instruments.
Joy Chimes provides an entry-level experience of handbell performance for children as young as first grade—no previous musical experience needed!
Creativity Camp - One week every June for crafts, songs, snacks, and faith exploration. Because of our fundraising efforts throughout the year, Faith Formation offers a free Creativity Camp to all participants!
Special Events - We hold annual events like our Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk-or-Treat, and Valentine's cookie decorating. Check the calendar for upcoming events.
Childcare is provided in our nursery during Sunday worship by a professional nursery attendant and volunteers.
Crafts, games, reading, snacks, and free play help children aged 6 months to 3 years feel welcome in the church community.
Parents are asked to leave a phone number so they may be contacted if necessary.
Summer Camp - Camp Adams is a treasured part of the Central Pacific Conference and holds youth camps every summer for children as young as kindergarten. Our church provides "Camperships" for families who ask for financial support to attend camp.
