Financial Values & “Ethical Spending”

In this busy season of gift buying and gift giving, some are asking more questions about what they buy, and trying to make more “ethical” choices in consumption. We wonder, can subtle financial cues drive us toward more independent or selfish behaviors? Can the correlation between selfishness and lower happiness be transformed by Christian values? Join us as we review selections from Daniel Kahneman’s book Thinking, Fast and Slow. Kahneman is the recipient of a Nobel Prize in Economics. Led by Bill Meyer. Join us in the Mayflower room at 9:30 a.m. December 8 and 15 to consider how our values are expressed at Christmas and all year in our spending.
