For ALL the Saints: Welcoming our Trans & Non-Binary Siblings
Beyond what bathroom to use, people who identify as transgender or “nonbinary” face a host of challenges, ranging from job and housing discrimination, to spiritual abuse and outright violence. Join us as we learn more about our siblings experience, and ask, “What role might the Church play in supporting our trans and non-binary siblings?” As an “Open and Affirming” (ONA) congregation, how can we deepen our understanding of the issues, and widen our welcome? We invite you into a time of study and dialogue around how we can extend extravagant hospitality to people of all gender expressions and gender identities.
