A Word of Welcome from the Pastor

Welcome to First Congregational United Church of Christ. Perhaps someday I will say that to you in person! For now, I am happy to say it to you this way. Thank you for finding us on the page.

As you visit the various parts of this website, I hope you will see evidence of a congregation which is enthusiastic about its mission in the community and sincerely seeking a fuller expression for each of our unique experiences in relationship with God. We are ready to respond to your questions and your presence in any way you choose to participate.

In all that we do we welcome and affirm God's love for everyone. That's why the sign at the corner of Fifth and Main Streets quotes this portion of our Statement of Vision: "We explicitly welcome everyone into our Christian community, fellowship and worship regardless of sexual orientation, ethnic identity, economic circumstance, physical or mental ability, or any other perceived difference."
