Adult Sunday School

A study of the letters to the Corinthians is a new Adult Sunday School class offered at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayflower Room. These “letters” between the apostle Paul and the struggling church at Corinth are among the most valuable of Paul’s letters, not only for the light they throw upon the character and mind of the apostle and for their vigorous presentation of the gospel, but also for the vivid pictures they bring us of the real life of a particular church at the middle of the first century. These are letters, not careful, academic products written in the seclusion of a scholar’s study: they are living, vital, torrents of words poured straight from his heart to the friends for whom he wrote them.

Come join us in the study. I promise you will be moved and inspired by these love letters to God’s people of faith. Childcare is available. Class leader is Harvey Booth.
